本学会では2023年度に理事の改選をいたします。理事選挙にあたり、新理事の立候補を募集します。下記に理事立候補と選挙のご案内をいたします。

1．理事立候補について
・資格
理事立候補者は個人会員とし、次の条件をすべて満たす方です（規程第34条）。
- 2023年6月30日時点の年齢が満70歳未満である。
- 次期評議員決定者である。
- 選挙管理委員及び名誉会員、特別会員ではない。
・立候補の方法と届出期間
本ホームページの理事立候補届出フォームより届け出てください。
立候補の届出期間：2023年3月17日（金）～3月24日（金）
2．理事の選出方法
新理事は、次期評議員決定者の投票によって選出します（規程第36条）。本選挙は電子投票により実施します。理事投票フォームより投票してください。
投票期間：2023年3月31日（金）～4月14日（金）
開 票：2023年4月17日(月)
・理事の定員と任期
１）理事（選挙理事）の定員は英語分野から7名、医学・医療分野から8名選出いたします。
2）任期は2023年7月3日から2026年学術集会終了日まで。
3．選挙結果の公示
選挙結果は、開票後速やかに学会のホームページに公示します。

Election of the Executive Board members (理事) of JASMEE for 2023
The Society will hold elections for the Executive Board members in the year 2023. In order to elect the Executive Board members, we are calling for candidates for the new Board members. Please find below the information on the candidacy and election of new Board members.

1．Candidacy for the Executive Board members
・Eligibility
Candidates are the members who fulfill all requisites as follows:
- Younger than 70 years old as of June 30, 2020;
- Being a JASMEE Councilor for the next term (2023–2026);
- Not being an honorary member, a special member, nor a member of the Election Administration Committee of JASMEE
・Candidacy Procedure and Reporting Period
Please submit your candidacy using the Candidacy Report Form on this website.
Candidacy Reporting Period: Friday, March 17, 2023 – Friday, March 24, 2023
2．Method of Election of Directors
The new Executive Board members will be elected by a vote of the incoming Trustees Decision-makers (Article 36 of the Rules and Regulations). This election will be conducted by electronic voting. Please cast your vote using the Director Voting Form.
Voting period: Friday, March 31, 2023 – Friday, April 14, 2023
Voting to be held: Monday, April 17, 2023
・Quota and term
1) Seven board members will be elected from “English Specialist” category and eight from “Medical Professional” category.
2) The term shall be 3 years, starting on July 3, 2023.
3．Public announcement
Election results will be posted on the Society’s website as soon as possible after the ballots are counted.
